About The International University

|
Bachelors, Master's, and Ph.D degrees are offered through the International University, which is an established distance learning facility. The structure of the program is self-directed study through mentoring, online tutorials, and independent study. The mentoring approach to higher education has been in use at Oxford and Cambridge Universities for centuries. This method offers students greater flexibility than the classroom lecture method. The simultaneous contextual and subjective nature of consciousness lends itself particularly to a highly individual approach. The International University is not currently seeking accreditation, and at present all degrees are non-accredited. The study of consciousness as a field of knowledge is cutting edge, and it always takes time for acceptance of such programs into the mainstream of education. The intention of these courses of study is to offer consciousness studies and the practical application of such studies in an academic forum for the first time. The concepts presented are based on theoretical hypotheses and empirical data from the entire body of consciousness knowledge, including direct counseling, experiential awareness, and research in psychology, physiology, physics and parapsychology, combined with legacies of philosophy and theology. The applications methodology is derived from the SYNERGERNICS tm material, a body of work comprising a universal system of personal integration and transcendence. Advanced Degree specializations include: Accelerated Personal Growth and Development; the Facilitation of Accelerated Personal Growth & Development for others,( HyperTherapy); International Organizational Co-operation Studies, (All Nations Studies); Environmental Regeneration Studies, (HumaNature); and Peace Studies. The International University, Department of Applied Consciousness Studies does not discriminate with respect to race, religion, age, gender, nationality or physical disabilities.
